I love taking pictures (who doesn’t). Cameras are amazing, one of the greatest invetions ever. They great for capturing a moment.
My camera is nowhere near spectacular(6 mega pixel, 3 optical zoom — digital zoom doesn’t count for much), but it’s okay for now . Though honestly I’m just itching to get a new one. My previous camera was a somewhat better model but it was stolen while I was travelling and I didn’t have the cash to replace it.
My camera doesn’t have manual focus, which I find limiting. It’s great for snapshots but not so great if you want to create a specific effect. You can’t really take pictures from far away due to the limited optical zoom. What I really need is a massive lens.
SLR (Single Lens Reflex) cameras offer much better zoom capabilities as well as the option to focus manually. When I think of additional lens attachments I get a warm glow. That is why a digital SLR camera is number one on my gadget wishlist. Let me admit it to you now: I have camera envy! If I see someone with a cool camera, most likely I will look at the camera first, even if that someone is hot.
I choose digital instead of traditional 35mm film simply because it’s cheaper, easier to use and can be printed instantly. I like both Canon and Nikon.
I had a look on the
Canon EOS US website and I saw the new model. The new Canon EOS Rebel T1i EF-S is a real beauty. It boasts an impressive 15.1 mega pixel resolution. It can also record HD video. Unfortunately for me it’s hefty awesomeness carries a hefty price tag, so I’ll have to save up a bit.
In the meantime I think I should get a more affordable SLR camera. Maybe I can look in the classifieds and buy a camera (even if it’s second) that’s more in my price range.
