Ghost World Quote

4 September 2009

SODA CUSTOMER:
Hi, can I get a medium 7-Up?

ENID:
Medium? Why sir, did you know that for a mere 25 cents more you can purchase a large beverage? And you know… I’m only telling you this because we’re such good friends: Medium is really only for suckers who don’t know the concept of value.

Quitter quote from Bounce

3 August 2009

ABBY:
That’s cause I don’t really smoke. Yeah, well, last year I started chewing the gum, you know? Because my friend, Donna, she was trying to quit smoking and she found that the gum was soothing to the nerves. So I started chewing it, then I got hooked on the gum and then I got TMJ from the chewing. So this is just to get me off the gum. I’m 10 days off the gum.

BUDDY:
Sounds like a good plan. Next week you’ll be on heroin.

My Top 10: Adam Sandler Movies

adam sandlar funny actor

  2. The Waterboy
  3. Billy Madison
  4. Punch-Drunk Love
  5. Anger Management
  6. Spanglish
  7. Click
  8. Airheads

  10. Big Daddy

Adam Sandler was born on 9 September 1966 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his debut on The Cosby Show as Smitty in a couple of episodes. He was then cast in Saturday Night Live. He went one to star in movies and became an extremely poplar comedy actor. The movies listed above are my favourite Adam Sandler films, the ones I like, not necessarily the ones that are generally considered to be his best.

I still want to watch Eight Crazy Nights and Bed Time Stories. Have you seen any of them and would you recommend them?

Most of his movies are definitely the kind that I would watch several time again, when I need to chill out and just have a good laugh. So I will be adding a few more of these to my DVD collection.

If you’re on a budget you can find some used DVDs for sale in the classifieds or in secondhand store.
